Eugenics: Surrealist & Dystopian Paintings – Visual World Inspired by Utopia.

Eugenics Series is a body of paintings situated within surrealist and dystopian art, where violence is not portrayed as eruption, but as procedure. Operating through the visual language of dark surrealism and the bizarre, the series depicts a world governed by eugenic order – a system in which death, elimination, and selection function as structural components rather than moral ruptures.

Executions, eliminated bodies, and maternal figures holding dead children appear without spectacle or emotional escalation. Violence is presented as consequence, not event. What is shown always exists after the decision has already been made.

Human figures bearing rabbit heads function as a standardized image of the stripped subject. The rabbit – a laboratory organism, reproducible and replaceable – displaces the human face, removing any claim to individual narrative. The body no longer expresses experience. The body becomes outcome.
