In this painting, I present my vision of Hera, the goddess of Greek mythology, both wife and sister of Zeus. I wanted to capture her dual nature—majestic and powerful, yet deeply human in her emotions. Hera embodies authority, vigilance, and an unyielding presence, which I expressed through the intricate golden ornamentation and the intensity of her gaze behind the mask.

The flowing red shapes represent her passion and fire, while the two bird-like figures beside her symbolize protection, divinity, and her eternal bond with the heavens. The gold leaf adds a sacred dimension, reflecting light like divine energy surrounding the goddess.

For me, Hera is not only a figure of mythology but also a timeless archetype of feminine power—mysterious, commanding, and eternal.
